In our July/August double issue, we asked you capture some colourful images of summer. Thank you to everyone who sent us their photographs. We were delighted to receive your vibrant entries snapped in local gardens and woods or exotic destinations.
“This is Curl. He was one of the caterpillars that came through the post. He became a painted lady butterfly. He had a poorly wing and couldn’t fly like his brothers and sisters but we gave him a nice life on oranges and flowers in our living room.”

"It is a wasp nest in a laurel tree in our garden. We love the contrast of the greens against the greys of the nest. The wasps are usual too- they are more black than yellow. "
